What a weekend it was. We had an amazing time in Madison with some of our family and friends. I love all the excitement over the Regatta and it brings back memories from my childhood. To be able to share the traditions of Regatta with our boys is priceless. I just wish that it would be like it was 25 years ago when we were little. (Minus the daisy duke jean shorts, bikini top, belly hanging out women walking around- your laughing because if you are from Madison you know what I am talking about!) Friday we spent the day on my parents boat in the river with them and my sister's family, did the parade that evening, Saturday headed to the river bank to watch the boats in the pouring rain, and then Sunday made our way to the river bank and my parents boat (it was docked in turn one- amazing view) to watch the races. Miss Madison has had better runs, but it was still fun to cheer her on! Enjoy the pictures of a fun filled weekend!
We really missed being in Madison for the 4th, can't wait to take Luke next year to see the races!
